For the past few years we have set up wonderfully relaxing environments in magical places in the Region of Andalucia to run our unique, and incredibly popular Yurt experience hideaways.
Alora Yurts – The Alpujarras Adventure is located in Lanjaron Alpujarras, Spain comprising of 2 traditional Mongolian Yurts and The Love Shack Log Cabin. All are individually furnished with an eclectic mix of delights from around the globe which are a visual work of art in themselves and a feast for the senses.
The aim has always been to create a laid back and relaxing environment for visitors to escape the pressures of everyday life back home. After a few days in this magical setting with stunning surrounding countryside and wildlife, meals to die for, unlimited cuddles from adoring, lovable and low maintenance rescue dog’s visitors can’t avoid leaving anything other than totally relaxed and recharged.

Log Cabin

The Love Shack is a wooden cabin nestled into the hillside of the beautiful Lanjaron valley located in the region of the Alpujarras, Andalucia, Southern Spain. Built between the trees in the centre of two olive groves, 50 meters from the main house.
The Love Shack is an original, with spacious and open plan bedroom area and kitchen, this furnished log cabin sleeps up to 2 people with its comfortable and quirky design. Outside The Love Shack there is a terrace with views accross the valley, at the back is an outdoor swimming pool with seating areas.
Perfect for couples looking for a quiet and peaceful break, it can also be a great holiday accommodation for those who want to spend time in Lanjaron.
This is a beautiful place to stay for two or a small group of friends wanting to experience Andalucia in all its glory.

Yurts

Our Mongolian style yurts are located at Lanjaron Alpujarras, a beautiful retreat nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, in Granada. The yurts sleeps up to 3 people and are situated within a minute walk of the fresh water swimming pool.
The yurts are situated on the high plateaux of the village of Lanjaron at over 1,000 metres (3,300 feet) in altitude forming one of the most beautiful and complete environments for enjoying Andalusian food and culture with relaxing views. The yurts are comfortably furnished and hold up to 3 people. The original Mongolian Yurts, were first enjoyed by nomads centuries ago built with traditional materials, constructed from willow wood and covered with cloth. Our hand painted Mongolian yurts are beautiful spaces with comfy beds, lush bedding, quirky furniture all lit by candlelight and with a wood burner for those cooler winter evenings. Each of the yurts, are positioned to take advantage of the views , they each have their own compost loo, seating areas and outdoor bed for stargazing the sky is amazing as no light pollution.
Outside there is a terrace with views across the valley, at the back is an outdoor swimming pool with seating areas.
